About Anna Zheleznyakova

Trained in St. Petersburg, Russia, Anna Zheleznyakova is a freelance ballerina specializing in the classical repertoire.  Ms. Zheleznyakova excels in the romantic roles, and is known for her artistry and lyricism in such roles as Giselle, Raymonda, and the Dying Swan.

This two week specialized course is both intensive and personally planned. This year’s course is only open to 20 males and females at various levels ages 14-26 (exceptions may be granted in some cases).  This unique cultural program is designed to enrich and inspire the serious dancer.  Because of the small group, great attention and detail has been taken to make this an experience they will treasure their entire life.

Anna Zheleznyakova will accompany and supervise the students in Moscow.  Along with their daily studies, students will participate in cultural excursions throughout their two week stay.

The school director, Yuri Vasyuchenko, is a former principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet.  As well as his directorial duties, he currently teaches and is on the faculty of the Moscow State Choreographic Academy.  He also guest teaches and coaches internationally, and serves on the Committee of the Korean International Ballet Concours.

The course fee of $3,500 USD includes:

Students are responsible for acquiring a Russian Visa from the Russian Embassy (Consulate) and airline tickets. Visa processing assistance is available. Students must also possess a valid passport by June1, 2008.

It is imperative that all students be booked on the same flight leaving Atlanta, Georgia where Ms. Zheleznyakova will meet and accompany them to Moscow.

There is a $50 application fee to apply for this course. The non-refundable deposit of $1700 is due by May 10, 2008. Tuition must be paid in full no later than June 1, 2008.
